It was raining when Michelle arrived at Berta’s Bar. Victor, Caroline and Hugo were waiting for Michelle. On that Friday night, a little trip was on the way for the weekend. The group was eating fast food when Michelle asked:
- So, maybe it’s time to start?
- Start eating – answered Victor.
- Our trip start today – said Caroline.
- I rented a small house on Green Park, it is comfortable and old – revealed Hugo.
- In the middle of nothing? I'm not really interested – said Michelle, drinking soda.
- We need to spend more time together, since the end of the school, it's difficult to reunite the group – said Victor, looking through the window.
- Okay, okay. I decided to accept the invitation, but if I don't like the house and the place… - said Michelle interrupted by Caroline:
- Michelle, all you need is relax. Let's stop talking for now - said, standing up and going to pay the bill.
Outside of the bar, the friends were waiting for Victor, so, they decided to get on the car for the beginning of the trip. Victor was the driver.

On the road, the weather started to clean, and a bright moon appeared in the sky.
-Today we don't have time to fun. I don't know how did you decided to drive at night for a stranger place – said Michelle, worried.
- Tomorrow, we gonna spend all Saturday drinking, swimming... Don't be a bad girl, Michelle – said Caroline.
- Swimming…? – asked Victor, driving.
- Yes, there is a river in the park, close to the house. Tomorrow will be a sunny day – answered Hugo.
- My God, Caroline. Now, I really liked the idea about swimming on the river – said Michelle, excited, for now.
Minutes after, they finally arrived at the house. Wasn't a small house like Hugo said, was a middle house in the park. With two bathrooms, three bedrooms, a kitchen and a big living room. Victor was the first to get out of the car, followed by Caroline, Hugo and Michelle.
- Isn't small, Hugo – said Caroline.
- Time to explore the place. Let's go – said Hugo, opening the door and turning on the lights.
Inside of the was really nice and classical. The floor was made of wood and the furniture was old but in perfect condition.
- I will prepare something to eat – said Caroline, going to the kitchen, while Hugo and Victor were bringing some stuff for the house, like beer, items of baggage etc.
Michelle took advantage to explore one of the bedrooms and went upstairs. On the final of the corridor, was a closed-door, that Michelle cannot open. So, Michelle went to the bedroom and found an old and small wardrobe. She opened the wardrobe and found a curious object, an old book. But, she doesn't give attention at the moment, and was interrupted by Victor:
- Hey Michelle. Are you okay?
- Oh, yes, why?
- Nothing. It looks that you already chose you bedroom.
- Oh, yes, but if you want to change, okay, it isn't a problem for me.
- It's yours. Let's downstairs, Caroline makes some snacks for us.
Hugo was in the car, and something inside of the park called your attention. Was night and to see anything was very difficult. So, he leaves the car and walked into the house.
- Any problem? – asked Victor, drinking beer.
- I was looking for a book in the car, but maybe I forgot that in my house.
- Sure.
Both walked into the kitchen, to stay with the girls, but at that moment, a stranger blackout turned off the power.
-Shit – said Caroline. – What's happening?
- It's just a blackout – answered Victor, and the power came back. – Nice. It's back!
The group goes to the living room with some drinks and food and Hugo found an old DVD. Curious, Hugo put the DVD to play on the tv, while the others were paying attention to that.
-What is that? A movie? - asked Victor.
-Let's discover.
The movie started showing a couple swimming on the river, happy. But, the movie looked like an amateur recorder and started to focus on the forest, without the couple and river on the scene.
-This is not a movie - said Caroline, eating a piece of pizza.
-Probably someone recording a good moment, or something like that - said Michelle.
In the forest, it was possible to see a stranger woman that was spying the couple on the river. So, the movie stopped.
-Trash, I thought was a horror movie, not amateur footage - said Victor, drinking beer.
The group spends the rest of the night laughing, talking etc. Michelle decided to take a break, and then, he went to the bathroom, when she came back to the living room, she was holding a book.
-Look what I found! Was in my bedroom - said Michelle.
Hugo went to the middle of the group and opened the book.
-Looks like an old book - observed Caroline.
-I can't read anything - said Victor, trying to read.
While Hugo was turning the pages, he finally found an English phrase that was written.
-My name is Vanessa, I finally found my peace. My body and my soul I gave to Whiro - read Hugo.
-Who are Vanessa and Whiro? - asked Caroline.
At that moment, someone knocked on the door, scaring the group.
-I'm not gonna open the door -said Michelle.
-Let's go Hugo - said Victor.
-No thanks.
-C'mon!
Both walked into the door, and slowly, they opened.
-Hello?
It doesn't have anyone outside, just the forest sounds at night. Victor closed the door and looked up. Michelle was tired and decided to go to the bedroom, while Caroline was in the kitchen, doing the laundry. When she finished, she turned off the lights, but someone outside was spying her without permission.

In the middle of the night, Hugo was awake in his bedroom, using the smartphone with the bedroom's light turned off. Then, he stands up and went to the window to see outside. It was a cold night, and when he looked through the window, he saw a woman walked outside. She was wearing a dark shirt and was walking into the forest.
-Caroline? What the hell is going on?
Still spying the girl, he saw her disappear in the middle of the forest. Confused and curious, Hugo left the room and went downstairs. Hugo tried to turn on the lights but wasn't working. Without lights, he decided to turn on the cellphone flashlight.
Apparently, everyone was sleeping when Hugo arrived in the living room, close to the door. A scary silence was broken by someone knocking at the door.
Michelle was in the bedroom sleeping when the door opened slowly, making her wake up.
-Hello? - asked her, standing up.
-Vanessa is coming - said a stranger male voice, from the corridor.
-Hugo? Victor? It is not funny! Stop.
She walked into the corridor to try to see who was said that, but the corridor was so dark.
